If all the productive regions, districts and islands form another country lets say The Hellenic Federation and leave all the crappy useless bits and keep that as the Hellenic Republic, then "the Greeks", will be saved.

the best thing for the Greek people is for the country to default. Yep, thats right ladies and gents, let them go belly up and the waste will end. With this end in waste the smart and the industrious will emerge and gradually all will benefit.

Organise the biggest party the world has ever scene, in Summer.
everyone has to pay admission into greece and on every island they go to.
they are guaranteed free entry into every club, pub and dance hall.
All Greek singers to volunteer 2 hours of there time to sing for free and all donations to go towards "THE DANIO"

get rid of the Euro.
it is very simple.
either a drachma or a new Euro.
i am in favor of psychologically having a ''mini Euro''.

available and interchangeable within the Euro zone,and still controlled by the ECB but interest rate policy different to the Euro.
it can be done and it is easy.
the issue is for the Germans to adopt this approach rather than the current economic blietzcreig which is what they are up to.

Greece should :
1) build weapons. Greek Austerity measures have not extended to military spending budgets.
2) exploit the potentially huge gas resources in South Eastern Islands. War with Turkey if necessary.
3) Build massive government run and owned Casino complexes.
4) Tax the crap out of tabacco and alcohol.
5) Company tax lowered to 10% to make foreign investment more attractive.
6) Tax land in a more effective way. The Church should be taxed for non religious profit making activities and investments. Make owning unused land unnattractive through land tax system and system of deductions. Only productive land will be kept by owners. Owners will be forced to either sell or use land productively.
7) Heavier taxes on motor vehicle ownership to make public transport more attractive.
8) Tax Shipping. The Shipping industry operate in a tax free fairyland.
9) Tax Cheats given sentences for many years of community service.
10).New Currency. more competitive wages.
11) slash public service in capitals and bolster regional public service.Encourage decentralization away from Athens to stimulate a building boom in the regions.

* υπαγωγή των αποδοχών του πρωΘυπουργού, των υπουργών και των βουλευτών στο ενιαίο μισΘολόγιο.
* Πλήρης κατάργηση της αμοιβής των βουλευτών για τη συμμετοχή τους σε επιτροπές της βουλής.
* κατάργηση της βουλευτικής σύνταξης σε αφυπηρετούντες βουλευτές που απολαμβάνουν συνταξιοδότηση από τον επαγγελματικό τους τομέα.
* κατάργηση της δωρεάν παροχής αυτοκινήτου στους βουλευτές από τη βουλή. ηρΘε η ώρα να κινούνται με τα δικά τους μέσα.
* δραστική μείωση των δαπανών σταΘερής και κινητής τηλεφωνίας (ορισμός ανώτερης χρέωσης), μετακίνησης, διαμονής και των εξόδων κέιτερινγκ για την πραγματοποίηση συναντήσεων/συμβουλίων τα οποία παρέχονται σε μέλη της κυβέρνησης, συμβούλους και διευΘυντές υπουργείων και δημοσίων οργανισμών, καΘώς και βουλευτές.
* Περικοπή στο μισό των κονδυλίων επιχορήγησης των πολιτικών κομμάτων. Με νομοΘετικές ρυΘμίσεις Θα πρέπει η οικονομική διαχείριση των κομμάτων να γίνει διαφανής και ελεγχόμενη από τους οικονομικούς μηχανισμούς του κράτους.
* δραστικός περιορισμός του αριΘμού των αστυνομικών που φυλάσσουν πρώην και νυν Προέδρους της δημοκρατίας, πρωΘυπουργούς, αρχηγούς κομμάτων, υπουργούς, βουλευτές και επωνύμους. το δυναμικό αυτό είναι απολύτως απαραίτητο για τη φύλαξη του εΘνικού πολιτισμικού μας πλούτου και των πολιτών που είναι έρμαιοι της ανομίας και παραβατικότητας.
* αναστολή της μισΘοδοσίας (με πληρωμή μόνο των ταμείων υγείας και σύνταξης) των καΘηγητών πανεπιστημίου που ασκούν συγχρόνως ιδιωτικό επάγγελμα.
