A NEW Kinect Star Wars trailer has appeared out of nowhere, as if crawling from the belly of a makeshift Tauntaun shelter.
But don't expect to see any gameplay from one of the most hotly-anticipated games of 2012.
Instead the skit features bathrobed actor Chris Pratt (from TV show Parks & Recreation) facing off in a lightsaber battle against Darth Vader - a homage to Episode IV: A New Hope.
For me, the best part of the video was the end when a special edition R2DR and C3PO Xbox and controller appeared briefly.
The hype around Kinect Star Wars began in June 2010 when a concept video was released, and was followed by a gameplay trailer in June 2011 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The trailer promised lightsaber sequences, force powers, podracer events and the chance to pilot iconic ships and Speeder Bikes.
The game is also said to offer co-op, competitive and duel modes.
Gaming website IGN reported a mode titled “Rancor Rampage” which lets players take control of the monster made famous in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
The creature has broken out of Jabba's basement, and players must storm around Mos Eisley and destroy everything in sight.
“My favourite was 'Munch 2 people', while another challenge entreated you to 'Throw 3 civilians'. Fling unsuspecting citizens towards the horizon in a timely fashion and you accumulate more points,” IGN wrote.
Kinect Star Wars was supposed to be released in 2011, but is now expected to be available in April.
