Hello everyone!

I am new here and I thought it would be a good idea to say hi! :P
So... Hi! :P I am George (friends call me Bekos), I am Greek but I moved in UK before a year. Although I have a very good job here, I am not planning to stay in UK for the rest of my life. :P Why? Well.. you have to live here in order to understand! :P At the same time, there is no way I am going back to Greece. Greece doesn't like me and so I don't like her. :P As a result, I am still looking and trying new places. I was lucky to visit Australia before some months and I really loved it! I visited Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Gold Coast. All of these places were amazing! It was by far the best holidays I have ever had. Anyways, before some months I decided to do a PhD in Astrophysics Visualization and right now I am looking around the world for universities. Some good ones are in Australia and so there is a change I might move to Australia in the coming months! :D Even if I don't move there, I will definately visit Australia again for my holidays! :P Thats all for now! cu later guys!

Bekos,i went to the LSE.i lived close by there,on the Strand for most part of my University time.

the enemy Kings College was just round the corner..i hope youre not one of them !

nothing like popping into the Savoy,and having a drink,and then watching a play next door at the Theatre.

1) UK is not only London. London is the ONLY place in UK that is more like USA and Australia. Why? Because there are lots of people from all over the globe. Different cultures "force" London to provide different kinds of entertainment, activities and so on. If you don't like British you hang out with Pakistani, or Greeks, or Indians or Chinese or French or Americans or whatever. In any other place in UK you don't have these options. I have been in lots of different places in UK including London, Manchester, Yorkshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh. You can NOT compare them with London. You can guess that I like London more than any other place in UK. But to be honest I prefer a cleaner and "smaller" London with better weather and lots of sea! (ie: one of the big cities in Australia). I can not imagine myself living in UK for the rest of my life.

2) I didn't say I will go to Australia for sure. I said that I applied for a PhD in some countries INCLUDING Australia. (but I didn't apply for PhD in UK :P) I may end up in Canada or USA! I still don't know. But for sure I don't want to end up in UK! :P And to be honest so far I can say that Australia is one of my favorite places to relocate.

There is not good or bad place. It is just a personal choice. Each person likes different things! Your profile says that you live in Greece now. But it seems you hate Australia. I guess you moved there in the past and something really bad happened?

i dont know how long youve been or lived in greece,and i dont know if youve done your military training yet or not..but..Greece has emerged historically from the ashes of a dying and corrupt empire.it evolved into its current state mostly due to foreign intervention which mostly ran contrary to its own interests..

the people today work under difficult and harsh circumstances.

i dont see the british or the germans being so vastly fucken superior to the greeks..

they work actually harder than most people outside of greece,as they deal with a bureacracy which is and continues to be out of control.
