Hello everybody, first of all I am not sure if everybody speaks greek here so I will try to write in english for now

In November I am planning a backpacking trip in Brisbane area and planing to stay there for 3 months, I am wantering how easy is to find any job for 3 months. I have many skills espacialy in the constraction "μάστορας"

Planing to experience the living in the warm Australian climate, and escape from the cold Greek winters

είναι αλήθεια? παρακαλώ πέστε μου τις γνώμες σας η ότι άλλο πιστεύετε οτι θα ήταν καλό να το γνωρίζω.

Αυτά τα λίγα και απο εμένα
τους χαιρετησμούς μου και τα σέβη μου σε όλους τους έλληνες της αυστραλίας.

You could pick up a job in a pizza shop or kotopoulo takeaway no worries. Many employers especially 'ethnic' ones don't care if you can work legally or not.

most summer jobs are taken up by school leavers, during that summer duration. There all young and that means cheap wages. Most coys don't employee new staff during that period.

but come one down and have a great holiday...

after all that major flooding there is alot of work in Brisbane ...but if your working for cash dont expect much

guys thanks for your replys, and even more opinions and some more ideas from you will be appriciated

those school young guys might not have some skills I have, so maybe they will go for easyer jobs
maybe my case is different, I am an experienced welder

the flooding might be an option, was good to let me know about this
today I was trying to reach the Australian embasy in Athens, but was very hard to find them, they are clossing and from now on the Australian embasy in London will take care all the greek cases, <I got this info not sure if it is true>
I was going to ask them about turist visa <if I need to prepear anything>

all the greeks here from australia writing,are all pretty wealthy and live well..in houses with security.

if you travel there looking for work,and dont have a lot of money...watch out.
