my God,, what a stupid argument to introduce here
πας καλά βρε russel ;
the point that I am trying to make is..... there are ALWAYS excellent alternatives.... and considering that Germany has declared open war with us....time to consider these alternatives quite seriously
now of course.... if the Germans actually invested in an actual factory to manufacture cars (note: manufacture and not assemble) in greece .... THEN we might consider otherwise
but then nobody else has either.... so... .we should stick to the alternatives as a possible counter-measure
mind you...with the germans...... something about German engineering and submarines come to mind
hmmmmmm?

THEIR TANKS WERE FINE.
THEY JUST SCREWED UP ON THE RUSSIAN FRONT,AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TRIED TO DEFEAT BRITAIN.
THEY SHOULD HAVE CONCENTRATED ON EUROPE,AND KILLED OFF AS MANY AS THEY COULD HAVE..AND ONCE THEY WERE IN CONTROL,THEN FOCUS ON BRITAIN..AND RUSSIA EVENTUALLY..
TOO MUCH OF A RUSH..HITLERS MISTAKE..

WHAT HAS POLITICS TO DO WITH A DECENT CAR BEING BOUGHT AND OWNED..?
ISNT THAT PUSHING NATIONALISM A BIT FAR ?
I DONT LIKE RUSSIAN POLITICS AND WHAT THOSE SNEAKY CUNTS ARE UP TO,BUT I STILL BUY VODKA..

HA HA HA OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVENT BEEN TO GREECE FOR A WHILE..
YOU HAVE TSIPRA AND THE COMMUNISTS THAT WOULD SABOTAGE ANY NEW FACTORY,,,AND THE LAWS ARE CRAZY..
IF YOU WANTED TO OPEN A FACTORY WOULDNT YOU GO TO MACEDONIA OR TO BULGARIA OR EVEN TURKEY ?
MACEDONIA AND BULGARIA HAVE DECENT TAXES...
TURKEY HAS LOW WAGES..
WHY THE HELL WOULD GERMANS SET UP IN GREECE ?
TRELLATHIKES..?
NO GREEK WOULD WORK IN THE FACTORY..ANYWAY.ONLY ALABANIANS WOULD WORK..SO WHY NOT SET IT UP IN ALBANIA ?
but then nobody else has either.... so... .we should stick to the alternatives as a possible counter-measure

BELIEVE ME THEY ARE FINE CARS..JUST RELAX !

if I am not mistaken .... it was the germans that vitriolicly demanded we sell the acropolis and call us greeks lazy bastards....and a whole lot shit more
sounds like somebody else declared war on us....
up to that point i had absolutely no problem with germany and their products .... irrespective of their politics of the day
in fact..... i have got so pissed off.... i even changed my bosch spark plugs in the car and replaced them with japanese ones which have proved with time that they are just as good - not to mention anything and everything else german in my possesion...
no imagine 20 mil greeks world wide taking that same approach
thank god or anything else one might believe in..... THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES

typical.... blaming the left wingers always and automatically
well ... there where two vehicle manufacturers in greece
a)DIM (automobiles)
THERE problem.... the bureaucracy that you so correctly pointed out - and from which i quote:
Quote
b) Namco (automobiles)
I'll let you read all about it
but one thing is for sure .... their failure had fuck all do do with the commies
Quote
and you know this how?
kati malakies pou les merikes fores
the fact is .... the problem is deeply rooted with the concept called greek government...... and....as for the germans setting up a factory...... well the did invest in building a submarine or two in greece ...so i guess they can invest in cars too
oh wait....the whole thing was a ruse to siphon money ..... and the shit is still flying around within German circles let alone greece itself
my bad
sorry my friend..... Germany CAN invest in Greece in the manufacturing industry
OUR jobs as greeks is to kick our politicians asses .....but because we are so blinded by the green and blue and red flags....Europe as a whole is doing it for "us".... and "we" are paying the price for "our" past complacency
(by the way......did you read the article i posted back some time back about beer....and how ""germany monopolizes it - to the point that...."μιά πράσινη παρακαλώ" .... with the help of the bureaucracy they have harnessed and probably encouraged ..... and the greek-american who is forever fighting that very bureaucracy trying to get his product of the ground .... and from what i hear.... its a damn good beer)

BULGARIA HAS A 10 PER CENT TAX RATE.
GREECE HASNT.
MACEDONIA HAS A LOW TAX RATE.
WHERE WOULD YOU SET UP YOUR FACTORY ?
TURKEY HAS LOW WAGES.
WHERE WOULD YOU SET UP A FACTORY ?
Greeks CAN manufacturer
GREEKS CANNOT MANUFACTURE.
THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK IN FACTORY JOBS.
SIMPLE.
now if only we could do something about her politicians....who....brought us into this mess in the first place
THE POLITICIANS REFLECT THE ATTITUDE OF THE PEOPLE.
WHO IS AT FAULT ..THE GUY SEEKING THE ROUSFETI OR THE ONE GRANTING IT ?
GREECE NEEDS DISCIPLINE.FIRSTLY THE PEOPLE NEED TO BE DISCIPLINED.
AND THIS RECESSION WILL ASSIST TO DISCIPLINE THEM.
YOU CANNOT HAVE MONEY BEING HANDED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION OR MONEY BEING MADE THROUGH REAL ESTATE SPECULATION AND NOT BE PRODUCING ANYTHING OF SUBSTANCE.
SOMEONE HAS TO PAY FOR ALL OF THIS EVENTUALLY.
YOU HAVE A GENERATION OF KIDS GROWING UP TAKING MONEY FROM THEIR PARENTS AND NOT WORKING.
YOU HAE PARENTS WHO ALLOWED THEIR CHILDREN TO BECOME CIVIL SERVANTS,AND NOT TO SEEK MEANINGFUL TRADES AND BLUE COLLAR JOBS,BECAUSE BLUE COLLAR BECAME A DIRTY WORD.
ALL THIS WILL END AND MUST END.
