[Blue Tongued Skink]

I was, reading about Greek ancient history,.. and culture,.. and happenned to come across this forum,.. I live in Australia too,.. only,..I'm amongst the ball of raw organisms out west, when a car or tractor swerves by, sometimes the startled kangaroo's literally roll over the gutters, and the cockatoo's combustively screech, invoking alot of anxiety, sometimes to astro projectional and dissociative proportions, the decibels dispatched from thier beaks can be mentally harmful . I indulged to read some topics on this forum,.. and seemingly beyond my control, I was frenzying into the 233 odd pages stored to date with increasing thirst and unbridled obsession, which is the fault of yourselves collectively as you have quite a witty, and intelligent community here, most of your contentions to domestic and global issues are considered with the utmost rational I see, not a myopic sceric, and I salivate on the attention to details, your engineering of thought, has me pulsating like an impressionable leech.

As for some of the humour, I fondly remember one such a discussion about the Redneck bogan barbecue,.. it had, and still has me, continuously chuckling,.. 13 snags, one left over, chopped into sections for seconds,...or rarely, when carefully planned "two each" ,... !!!.. charmed!, charmed!, that was beautiful, LOL,..nailed it,..that matches my observations aswell,.. though not on a personal level, as I'm a vegan.

So I linger on the fringe, as an admirer of this community,..and will hope to continue learning about the world from the perspective of Greek minds, especially in Australia, and sometimes, if you will permit me, I may contribute my thoughts to domestic issues as a fellow Australian,... I am from no meany nasty enemy tribe that lingers around the perimetre of Greek borders,..not a troll,..just odd.. but harmless.

Ah, but you are blessed with being Greek you lucky chap. The best I can muster, is that I'm a mere anti-bogan uncle tom, with a keen interest in Greek, and subsequent, interlinked European history. Still and all, like a dog outside chained to a tree, lying in the dirt,..I make the best of an inheritantly bad situation,..and I discover what an intruiging oasis this Greek forum is, thank you for welcoming me.

You indeed were part of the rolling novel I had been reading for the past few days,.. the archives stretch back to 2005 from memory,.. many members here have become a bit like celebrities, so I was nervous, even vulnerable implementing my very first posts.

Why Just today, Race 6 at Morphetville (SA) racecourse, we saw horse 'Diamondconi' trained by Tom Jolly.
His colours are White and Grey, and what is the image on his silks????

Spoilage, spoilage,...I am purring through a guard of honour, (licking every hand and shin that comes within reflex vision). My ego and confidence has inflated rapidly, but we must remember that some animals need cautious standards, too much respect leads one to become a willful little ankle-biter, a sharp slap to the snout shall suffice from my surrounding superiors if neccesary.

Eyoismos,... I'm a non-native to Australia, equivalent to a pest introduced for game. I dont know precisely when my descendants arrived here, or from where in particular each section of my lineage stems from, (I'd like to find out one day),... but what I do know is that Greeks arrived as civilised regal specimens, sort of like shiny kings horses galloping through fields of resentful and ungreatful rodents. I am cultureless, I'm of european appearance, and so it has weened me onto the subject of European culture in general,..and there is no better place to begin than Greece. Besides that, I lived in Sydney when I was younger, grew up with Greek playmates,..attended some parties, then was plucked from the suburbs and tossed into the outback,.. after High School I went back as a friendless alien,.. the people who took me in immediately were warm hearted Greeks ,... I've nothing but fond memories of Greek people throughout my life. As for your fishing, I shall be pulled in, scaled, whipped with a knife up the belly, and happy to be eaten !!!..

Ya I'm a vegan,..it's because the scent of meats, milk and eggs causes me to convulse, I guess it's a mental aberration, not a choice out of protest, I could not blame a natural carnivore for not wanting to starve to death. Creatures who survive on a strict diet of vegetation aren't as bright as either carnivore or omnivore anyway, and in due time you may see it's quite fitting through my lack of mental endurance.

Russel, I empathise with you, and am evaluating the initial approach of the new member "Blue Tongue" from your perspective,..I can be suspicious of myself sometimes, I suffer from deep introspection to the point of self-beatings both physical and emotional in nature, I haven't yet snapped into two personalities mutually unconcious to one another,...but how would I know?.....in a way,... I share, ......a similar concern...

Russel,.. the overestimation of my mental capabilities is very sweet,.. but in due time, I probably will be exposed as an exhausted pseudo intellectual, there's about as much intelligence I could convey to ASIO, as there is useable intelligence of my own to function with . Though I do genuinely understand suspicions, for it appears I have the phrasing of a confidence trickster, but I would imagine thus far, with a concerntration of retracing my language to a particular frame of mind (to unravel possible motives).. the only thing plausible that I could suggestively frame is that I'm a nervous and subservient imp, who is overawed by the presence of noble Greeks, to the extent that I naturally think of my image as a creature comparatively well regressed in evolution. The essence of senses, forms symbols in my psyche until I merge into a hypnosis, where I think of myself as more of a pet, than a member.
